The Ministry Clarifies that a Fine of 40,000 Riyals for Gathering of More than 50 People

Statement by the Interior Ministry

According to the sources, the Interior Ministry said,

It is being re-emphasized that gatherings of more than 50 people are prohibited as a precaution against the corona virus.

How much will be the Fine for Such Gatherings?

How much would be the Fine for those who Attends such Events?

The Ministry added, Anyone who attends such a gathering will have to pay a fine of 5,000 riyals.

Would there will be an Increase in the Fine if it’s called for the Second Time?

What Measures would be Taken if the Meeting takes place in a Commercial Hall?

The Ministry said, If the meeting takes place in a commercial hall, the first time it will be closed for three months in addition to the fine, the second time it will be closed for six months in addition to the fine.
