THE MINISTRY OF HAJJ AND UMRAH HAS RECENTLY ANNOUNCED ITS PLAN FOR ISSUING THE E-UMRAH VISA OF AN INDIVIDUAL FOR CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE.
Benefits of E-Umrah Visa Facility
The recent aforementioned announcement is an excellent move by the Kingdom in chasing the Saudi Vision 2030, we can expect quite good benefits after its implementation; some of them are listed below for easy understanding:
- Once the above facility is available, each Umrah pilgrim will be in a position to apply for Umrah Visas directly without any need to approach the Saudi Diplomatic Missions.
- The time involved in getting the Umrah visa stamped will definitely reduce as the new E-Umrah visa facility will ensure the expeditious processing of the visas.
- The Government of Saudi Arabia would be able to ensure the comfortable stay of Umrah pilgrims during performing their religious obligations. This monitoring of their comfort can be monitored by the Government right from their coming on board through plane up till visiting Makkah and Madina, performing the religious rituals and leaving back to the home country.
Other Clarifications Related to E-Umrah Visa
It is also stated that the E-Umrah visas will be linked with the different governmental agencies. It was also revealed that the data and the images of the pilgrims will be scanned through the new electronic visa system.
Based on the above announcement and its future implementation, it is expected that the countries with a huge number of Umrah pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia will be benefited more with the introduction of the new electronic system.
