How can Umrah Pilgrims from Abroad get a Permit to Visit the Two Holy Shrine?

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SADAYA), has added another facility for visitors from abroad. Many visitors from all around the world visit Makkah and Madinah to perform Umrah and prayers throughout the year and to make things easier for them the Ministry added this facility. How can they issue permits for visiting the Mosques? Is there any condition for issuing the permit?

Issuing of permits for visitors from Abroad

The visitors from abroad can get their permits to enter the Masjid-ul-Haram for prayers, Umrah and Masjid-e-Nabwi through the ‘Etemarna’ and ‘Tawakalna’ apps after arriving in the country and registering in the ‘Qadoom’ platform. They can have the permits issued from those apps.

Download and Update the Apps as soon as Possible

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Sadaya has asked all users of the Etemarna and Tawakalna apps to download and update the Google Play and Apple Store apps as soon as possible.

Vaccination is Necessary for the Issuing of Permits

They clarified that prayer permits for Umrah, Masjid-ul-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabawi are issued to those who have taken both doses of vaccine through Etemarna and Tawakalna apps.
