Intelligence of Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her) changed the History of the World

Hazrat Khajida (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) was strong woman who broke down every obstacle in her path, even women of today will want to do what she did 1400 years ago. She turned down the Offers of Marriage

She was rich and respective woman who had turned down the offers of marriage from many princes. She had been married twice, one of them had died and it has been said that Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) had been parted her way from second Husband. She decided that she would not marry again but her decision turned when she met a person who became her third husband.

Asad Zaman said that she saw such wonderful abilities in him that changed her mind about marriage. Actually, Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her) (رضي الله عنها) had adored the Prophet of Islam ﷺ and she offered a marriage proposal to him. At the time of marriage, she was forty years old and Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ was only twenty five years old.

It’s not the story of their relation but a religion was built from here which is on second number in the world due to its followers. She married to Muhammad ﷺ when he had not declared his prophecy.



She Used to Travel in the Cities of Middle East

She was the daughter of successful trader who turned his family business into huge business of Kingdom. After the martyrdom of her father, she held the business into her hands. She used to travel in the cities of Middle East with her caravans for the business in Makkah. These caravans used to travel so long to Yaman and Shaam in the direction of North and South. The Islamic History professor Fozia bora from the University of Leeds said,

However, she inherited the large part of her wealth but she had developed her business on a massive scale on her own.

She used to hire people for different works. Then, she came to know about a person who was hardworking and loyal, then she contacted him and hired him as the leader of caravan.

Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها)got Married with Prophet of Islam ﷺ

 After the marriage, Muhammad ﷺ received tremendous stability and financial support through his Wife. It has been said that Allah blessed them with four children but only one daughter survived.

Rania Hafiz from the Muslim Institute of London says that from the social point of view, you should keep in mind the current situation where it was the period of multiple marriages. Although, most of the people had many wives but Muhammad ﷺ did not remarry as long as she lived.



Allah sent Revelation to Prophet of Islam ﷺ

 When the prophet began a series of spiritual worships and started meditating in the mountains near Makkah, many years had actually passed since their marriage. After that, revelation started coming from Allah through the Angel Hazrat Jibril (May Peace be upon him)( عليه السلام) . He decided to share his condition with Hazrat Khadija.

Hazrat Khadija became the First Muslim Woman of the History

The Islamic scholar Laila Ahmed from Hogwarts University says that when Prophet of Islam ﷺ started to receive Quranic Ayahs, he had a difficulty in understanding them, however, Hazrat Khadija helped him in understanding. The views of Historians said that Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) was the first who had listened the Ayahs. That’s why, she became the first Muslim woman of the History and the one who had accepted Islam first.

Robert Holland the professor of history in New York University said,

It’s difficult to reveal descriptive character of Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) because the description of Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) has been written after so long of her death.

He also added that she was independent and was the strong well-planned woman due to bitterness, for instance, she rejected the proposal of her cousin even though her family was quite satisfied with the proposal because she wanted to choose her husband herself..

According to Fozia Bora, When the Prophet ﷺ started preaching, there was a lot of opposition in the society because he was giving the message of believing in one God where the people worship different gods.

She added that it’s understood to read the history of Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) because this disproves the notion that in the early days of Islam, Muslim women were confined to the home. Prophet of Islam ﷺ never stopped his wife to do any work. Islam has given reasonable amount of rights to the women.

She knew how to move in the world and her business abilities and intelligence have changed the history of the world.

Bethany Hughes added that Khadija’s (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) support helped the Prophet ﷺ to spread his message and to fight the opposition of his tribal elite. Hazrat Khadija helped Muhammad ﷺ by her wealth and family relations for the next ten years.

Death of Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها)

She fell ill and died in 619, at that time, the Prophet ﷺ and his companionship had passed 25 years and the departure of Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her)  (رضي الله عنها) was a great shock to the Prophet ﷺ. According to Robert Holland, Historians defines Hazrat Khadija (May Almighty Allah be pleased with her) (رضي الله عنها) in a very attractive way that she has been declared the best friend of Prophet of Islam ﷺ.
