Pakistani women stitch complete Holy Quran in 32 years

 

Holy Quran is the last book and the most prestigious book of the Islamic religion. Muslims holds it very sacred. It was revealed upon Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and it is the best guidance source for people of all time for all problems.

Everyone shows their affection towards the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم), His book and the religion Islam in different aspects but the lady shocked everyone with her tremendous efforts that everyone’s heart. What the women did?

Who was the woman?

The incredible woman is Naseem Akhtar who lives in Gujrat, Pakistan. She was a young lady when the initial idea of stitching Holy Quran came in her mind however it took decades and a lot of her time in creating the masterpiece. Read more: 9 glorious unknown facts about the interior look of Holy Kaaba

What did the woman remarked on her decades-long effort?

Naseem Akhtar is very proud and satisfied of the work she has done. She doesn’t feel any regrets of giving decades to this job. She further said,

“I started stitching the Quran with full determination without fearing about how long it will take to complete. I am thankful to the Almighty Allah for giving me enough courage to complete the noble task. I am so happy with it. I have never been happier in my entire life. Nothing in my life has given me this much satisfaction and happiness as much the completion of this work has given to me.”

The Holy Quran is made up of cotton cloth. It has golden embroidery with the holy verses stitched with lively green color. The cover page has silk border pattern which is followed for each chapter. However, the initial of each chapter has a separate cover page.

Is the masterpiece in Pakistan?

No, even though a Pakistani created this masterpiece but when the Saudi Officials heard this news they invited her to Saudi Arabia placed her masterpiece in the Holy Quran exhibition of Madinah located opposite to Gate 5 of Masjid-ul-Nabwi.

What are her family remarks?

Her family is very proud of her work and dedication. She herself felt immense pleasure in creating this masterpiece which was quite obvious from the fact that she stitched whole Quran in the state of Abolution (Wudhu). She also happily donated her creation to the museum of Holy Quran.
