The Ministry Announces to Start Allowing People to Perform Tawaf

Recently the authorities announced that the first (1st) floor of the Grand Mosque would be reserved for pilgrims who would perform Tawaf only. Fixed timings would be set for the pilgrims. They can get their permits issued from Tawakkalna and Eatmarna apps. What timings are set for pilgrims to perform Tawaf only? Who is allowed to enter the Mosque? What are the Timings for those Who Want to Perform Tawaf Only?

He said,

The timing on the first floor for those who visit Masjid-ul-Haram only for Tawaf will be from 12:00 am to 3:00 am and from 6:am to 10:00 am in the morning.

The authorities also added,

The schedule for those who come only for Tawaf is fixed, which is for morning and night apart from prayer times.

He further added, the purpose of allowing pilgrims to perform Tawaf only from the first floor is to facilitate the people.

When Will the Tawakkalna App Start to Issue the Permits for Tawaf?

While answering a question, he said, by the end of this week, the Tawakkalna and Eatmarna app will facilitate the issuance of permits for Tawaf. Timings will also be set on the Tawakkalna and Eatmarna app for those who come to Masjid-ul-Haram for Tawaf only so that it will be easier to get Tawaf permit.

Prayer Permit is Necessary to Visit the Mosque for Congregational Prayers

The entry of other persons besides Umrah pilgrims is still prohibited in the courtyard of Masjid-ul-Haram. Only pilgrims dressed in ihram can enter the courtyard of the Mataf, while those who come to the Masjid al-Haram for congregational prayers are required to obtain a prayer permit from Eatmarna and Tawakkalna app.

Are Umrah Permits Still Required to Perform Umrah?

The issuance of the permit is necessary to perform Umrah. However, a rumour was circulating on social media that Umrah permit is giving to those who took 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine, which is fake. However, Umrah permits are issued only to those who have received two (2) doses of the corona vaccine. It is forbidden to enter the Masjid al-Haram without a permit.
