Overview of the Kingdom’s Initiatives in Promoting Saudi Vision 2030
The Kingdom has recently taken wide steps in promoting Art and culture throughout the country. The foremost reason for such activities is the pro-active persuasion of Saudi Vision 2030 set by the Kingdom. In view of the same, various cinema theaters were announced and established, furthermore, several music concerts and related events were organized domestically on the National day as well. Keeping in view of such promotion of art and culture by the Government, Saudi Arabia has been opening its doors to international stars, which is unprecedented in the country’s history.
What is Sharqiah Season?
The largest province of Saudi Arabia is Eastern Province in Arabic it says (الشرقية ash-Sharqiyyah). Dammam is a capital of the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts (SASCA) organized the event of Sharqiah, in partnership of ITHRA, in the Eastern province. The festival features more than 80 events in Eastern Province cities (i.e. Dammam, Dhahran, Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa & Jubail).

Participating of Hollywood and Bollywood Actors
As part of Sharqiah season in the eastern province, the fifth Saudi film festival will feature Indian Super Star “Salman Khan” and Oscar winning star “Cuba Gooding Jr.”

Salman Khan has recently announced in a video message that he will visit Saudi Arabia on the 24 March 2019, InshaAllah.
Duration of Sharqiah Season
The Sharqiah Season, the first of 11 Saudi seasons of entertainment, will run until the end of the month, with more than 83 activities in nine cities.
