Many companies and workplaces were allowed to work but in certain hour. Usually in Ramadan the working hours of every company changes.
The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) has announced the opening of banks, delivery centers and express service hours during the holidays of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr this year.
What Would be the New Working Hours for Banks?
According to the local newspaper, a statement issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) saying that during Ramadan,
The branches of banks will be open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. SAMA directed the banks to make available the names and times of their branches to the account holders through the available resources. The banks have to inform account holders about working hours and branch names.
What Would be the New Working Hours for Delivery Centers?
Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) said in the statement that delivery centers across the country would be open daily from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The working hours of delivery centers shall not be less than 5 hours daily. Details of which delivery centers will be open and when and how long they will remain open. Delivery centers have to give the information to the customer on their own.
SAMA’s Statement Regarding Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays
Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) added that,
This year’s Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will begin on Thursday, May 28th, after completing the May 21st duty. Financial institutions will resume operations on 8 Shawwal Sunday, May 31, Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) has banned all banks and delivery centers from opening some of their branches during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. The banks and delivery centers have to inform account holders about working hours, branch names and delivery addresses.
The Saudi Express Service
Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) also said that all banks and delivery centers should inform SAMA about the details of their branches and working hours. The statement further said that during Ramadan, the speedy delivery of Saudi Express (Fast) Express service hours would be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Express service will be closed on Thursday 28th Ramadan, 21st May then 3 Shawwal Tuesday 26th May Express service will be available for customers.
