Saudi Arabia Bans Sheesha Cafes in the Kingdom

Another hour, another new, corona-virus (Covid-19) has become the biggest headline with rapidly changing economic, social and mental challenges around the Globe. Sheesha is Prohibited in the Country Because of Corona-virus

As a precautionary measure against corona-virus, the country has banned Sheesha in all the cities in Saudi Arabia. According to the sources, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs has said that,

Sheesha is being banned for the safety and hygiene of citizens and Saudi expats.

Why is Sheesha banned in the kingdom?

Explaining the reason to ban Sheesha the Ministry has said that, Health experts have suggested that Sheesha may be the easiest and most common means of transmitting infectious diseases. It is being banned from time to time because of Corona’s precautionary efforts to counter and spread infectious diseases through Sheesha. Is the Order being Implemented in the Country or not?

As soon as the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs have stated to ban Sheesha, the Sheesha centres and coffee shops in all cities of Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and other cities have stopped providing Sheesha. Several Sheesha centers remained closed on Monday in Jeddah while others have pasted an apology to supply Sheesha.
