People visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a Saudi visit or Saudi tourist visas are now able to perform Umrah after obtaining an Umrah permit by completing procedures on Eatmarna and Tawakkalna apps, as stated by state media.
The Saudi Visitors must be vaccinated in order to receive the Permit
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said vaccinated expatriates coming to the Kingdom on Saudi tourist or Saudi visit visas can obtain Umrah permits by registering on the Eatmarna app. An account will be opened on Eatmarna and then updating your immune health information status on the Tawakkalna app is the only way to apply for the permit. The Ministry Informed Through a Statement
The Ministry said,
Only those who are immune by taking two (2) doses of coronavirus vaccine or completion of 14 days after taking the first dose of the vaccine. Also, those recovered from the coronavirus infection are entitled to obtain an Umrah permit.
The Umrah Agencies have Started the Vaccination Process
More than 500 Umrah service companies and around 6,000 foreign Umrah agents have started receiving vaccinated foreign Umrah pilgrims from August 9, 2021. 30 electronics sites and digital platforms are made for worldwide Umrah booking and reservations.
