An unexpected incident happened on Friday. A man tried to climb the pulpit in Masjid Al Haram during the Friday Conjugate prayer’s Khutbah. Makkah police arrested the culprit and said the man who tried to climb the pulpit during a Friday Khutbah has claimed to be “Imam Mehdi.”

The police said that the arrested person is over 40 years of age. On Friday, the man tried to climb the pulpit but was immediately apprehended by Haram e Maki security personnel.
After the Interrogation Police Informed the Media
Government agencies have taken initial steps against the detainee while his mental condition is also being assessed, they said.
Police said that during the interrogation, when the arrested man was asked why he wanted to climb the pulpit, he said that he was Imam Mehdi.
The Man was Arrested and is Under Custody
It should be noted that Haram Maki police have arrested a man who was trying to reach the pulpit during the Friday prayer khutbah in Masjid-al-Haram.
No Interruption or Any Kind of Disturbance Occurred in the Khutbah
During this time, there was no interruption in the Friday prayer khutbah and there was no disturbance among the worshipers. When the man tried to climb the pulpit, the Imam and Khatib of the Masjid al-Haram, Dr Bandar bin Baleela, was delivering the Friday prayer Khutbah.
