Traveling is never easy, even if it by plane or by car. People will consider it a rumor if I mention that someone rode a bicycle to reach Makkah from another country. Well, the truth is someone rode a bicycle to reach Makkah. The first-ever human to reach Makkah by riding a bicycle whose name was Sarah Habib. Sarah Habib wanted people to join her on her journey, but the people refused to do so. Her passion surrounded her, and she decided to go on this journey alone.
As she was less famous on social media before, she could not convince other people to go with her. Although she could not convince people to go with her she was successful to attain her goal. The time in which she completes her journey was unexpected. She even made a hashtag i.e. #cyclingmecca. Her bikes name was Merzouga, which is translated into “grace with blessing” in Maghrebi Arabic.

Tunisian girl, Sarah Habib made it to Makkah after traveling 53 days on a bicycle. She was the first girl to reach Makkah by cycle. She wanted to go with a bunch of people but no one showed up due to which she had to travel alone.
Why nobody traveled with Sarah?
Sarah Habib wanted people to join her on her journey, but the people refused to do so. Her passion surrounded her, and she decided to go on this journey alone. How did she reach Makkah in 53 days?
Traveling for 53 continuous days on a bicycle is not easy. She had to ride a bicycle continuously for 8 hours. This seems much unreal but this is true. Sarah Habib made to Makkah from Egypt by traveling for 53 days. She went through many places in Egypt while traveling to Makkah. What Sarah had to say about her journey?
Sara habib stated:
I was indeed left alone in Tunisia, but if it is seen that people have been harassed by me wherever they went and where I was lying. I can say that I was not alone.
Had she any fears in her heart, when she traveled this long journey?
It was the first experience of Sarah’s life. She said that traveling through the desert, she feared that the chakra would not be damaged or cause water problems along the way. She also feared that the cycle would not be stopped at Makkah. Sarah was worried that she wouldn’t be allowed to enter the sacred city as she was traveling by herself, but her fear didn’t stop her.
Her journey was very touch, which can be explained by her statement
I had many difficulties in their journey. The wind in the opposite direction and cycling up to eight (8) hours a day are notable. Occasionally the cycle has to be repaired by itself.
She made many fans after this journey. She met a woman in Port Sudan, who had traveled 200 km to see her. Many people followed her journey online, and wrote supportive messages on her social media, while others asked her to carry their prayers.
How did she felt after completing this journey?
A special thanks to each person who has crossed my way, smiled to me, shown me the way, filled my bottles with water, offered me a fruit, shared their house with me, presented me to their family and friends, cycled with me even for 10 km, cried with me and make me part of their lives.”
