As we all know that Umrah pilgrims were not allowed to easily travel to any city of Saudi Arabia except Jeddah, Makkah, and Madina.

According to the Under Secretary of Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, The stay of Umrah pilgrims must be for 30 days out of which 15 days must be spent in visiting the two mosques in Makkah and Madina.

It is expected that allowing the Umrah pilgrims to visit any other city of Saudi Arabia will increase the number of pilgrims to perform Umrah and will help in flourishing the economy of Saudi Arabia.

Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs is expecting an increase of around 1.5 million pilgrims this year compared to the last year figure of 7 million.

The initiative taken by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs is really appreciable and worth attracting the tourism in the country.
